Silicon Carbon Alloy Ball (also called silicon‑carbon briquette / high‑carbon silicon ball) is a high‑efficiency composite metallurgical additive pressed by high‑pressure molding. It integrates deoxidation and carburization functions, widely used for steelmaking deoxidation, alloying and cast iron inoculation. It can partially or fully replace ferrosilicon, silicon carbide and carburizer to cut down your metallurgical raw‑material cost.
Compared with loose granular ferroalloys, ball‑shaped briquettes feature high mechanical strength, low dust loss during charging and transportation, fast melting speed and high element recovery rate. Chemical composition ratio and particle size can be adjusted according to customer requirements to match your furnace smelting parameters。
